General consul of the Republic of Sudan to the Emirate of Dubai and the northern Emirates, Ambassador Zahir Abdel-Fadel Ajab, presented his credentials to Sheikh Maktoum bin Butti Al Maktoum, Director of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
According to a statement released by the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the Consul General and noted that his arrival in Dubai would greatly advance bilateral ties between the two friendly nations in all spheres, particularly in the economic and commercial ones. Sheikh Maktoum also emphasised that the Consul would receive full support from all government officials so that he could carry out his duties right away.
For his part, the Consul General expressed his hope for more fruitful coordination and cooperation between the two nations while extending the greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates, through Sheikh Maktoum.
Ambassador Zahir, the general consul of Sudan to the Emirate of Dubai and the northern Emirates, expressed his joy at having the opportunity to represent his nation alongside the sisterly United Arab Emirates. He also expressed his willingness to push the two nations’ relations to new heights on all fronts, particularly in the areas of trade and commerce. He called for a wise partnership between the two nations in these areas.
