Cardinal Christophe Seonbron, the president of the Austrian Archdiocese, reported that he joined religious authorities from around the world in praying for world peace in the Church of the Arab Lady in Manama today, Friday.
The largest Orthodox leadership in the world, the Pope of the Vatican, Patriarch Pretilus of Constantinople, and representatives from other Christian religions met under the chairmanship of Pope Francis I.
In a statement today, the Austrian Cardinal renewed his thanks to the king, government and people of Bahrain for their religious eminence, the establishment of the Church of the Arab Lady in Manama, and allowing the establishment of prayers completely, in the context of strengthening the rapprochement and dialogue between the followers of the heavenly religions.
Notable is the fact that the top figures in Islam and Christianity, led by His Excellence the Grand Imam, Dr.
Sheikh of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb is now in Manama for a conference on dialogue.
