Ghana’s initial World Cup list is witnessing the presence of “European Stars”

Along with the national teams of South Korea, Uruguay, and Portugal, Ghana is competing in the World Cup’s eighth group.
Jeffrey Shlo, a member of the Ghanaian team, returned to Crystal Palace after playing for 28 minutes against Ethiopia in the qualifications last year and suffering an injury. Since then, he has not been called up to the “Black Stars” squad.
He also joined Belgian Club Bruges midfielder Kamal Sawah, who was a standout for his squad during the Champions League group stage.

The list includes players that took part in the World Cup qualifying matches as well as some fresh faces with different nationalities and Ghanaian ancestry who declared their intention to join and play for the Ghanaian team.
The Southampton defence is led by Mohamed Saliso, the Spanish attacker Bilbao, the English defender Tariq Lambti, the Ayo brothers, Andre and Jordan, and the midfielder Thomas Barti of Arsenal are also in attendance.

Due to the weather in the State of Qatar, the first Arab nation to host the major football event on its soil, it was decided to hold the championship in the middle of the season in the winter for the first time in history. This makes the championship an exceptional version of the World Cup.

The inaugural World Cup roster for Ghana includes “European Stars.”
