The German counselor discusses with the Chinese president ways to deepen economic cooperation between the two countries

Olaf Schultz, a German advisor, spoke with Xi Jinping, the president of China, about ways to expand their economic collaboration.

Schultz expressed his desire to discuss ways to advance economic cooperation between the two countries as well as issues relating to other issues such as climate change, food security, and debt-burdened nations during a press conference held following his meeting with Xi during his visit to the Chinese capital, Beijing, according to the German “Deutsche Fille” channel today, Friday.

Schultz expressed his hope that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will soon come to an end by saying that he had phoned China to use its “influence” on Russia. They had agreed that the threat of nuclear attacks is reckless, hazardous, and unlikely to be carried out.

The Chinese president emphasised that his nation supports the crucial role that Germany and the European Union play in advancing peace negotiations and assisting in the creation of a fair, practical, and long-lasting European security framework.

The international community must, according to Xi, “encourage all parties concerned to feel rationalism, regulate oneself, and make direct contacts as soon as feasible, and prepare conditions to resume dialogue and opposition commonly to deploy nuclear weapons or threaten them.”
