Nigerian President: Our relationship with India is solid politically and economically

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has defined his country’s relationship with India as a long-standing partnership on both political and economic levels.
This happened during Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting on Tuesday with Indian Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralidharan, who is on an official visit to Nigeria.

The Nigerian president stated that these links will continue to improve, saying that the visit of the Indian Minister of State to Nigeria assisted in identifying new areas of collaboration between the two nations and will also contribute to the growth of bilateral relations.

Earlier, in addition to meeting with members of the Indian community in Abuja, the Indian Minister of State launched the Indo-Nigerian Business Council and met with Nigeria’s foreign and defence ministries.

It is worth mentioning that the Indian Minister of State’s visit to Nigeria comes at a time when Nigerian-Indian ties are rapidly developing, and the meetings conducted by the Minister during this tour contributed to boost large-scale collaboration between the two nations.

Nigerian President: Our political and economic ties with India are strong.
