Britain: We will prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon in cooperation with the partners

James Cleverly, the foreign minister of the United Kingdom, stated today (Friday) that he discussed the “danger” that Iran’s continuous nuclear development poses to international security with his colleagues from the United States, Germany, and France.
He continued on his Twitter account, “We will continue to engage with international allies to guarantee that Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon.

Iran and the parties to the agreement, in coordination with the European Union and an indirect American participation, began discussions to revive it in April 2021. Beginning in early September 2022, the negotiations hit a snag when the Western sides acknowledged that the Iranian response to a draught agreement was “unreasonable.”

Anthony Blinkne, the secretary of state for the United States, stated once more on Wednesday that he could not see a “possibility in the short term to move forward” in the restoration of the nuclear agreement at this time.
The public’s attention has shifted away from the nuclear issue in recent weeks, while protests over the death of Mhisa Amini, a young woman who was detained by the Ethics Police, have been taking place in Iran since September 16 in response to that agency’s lack of adherence to the country’s strict dress codes.

Western nations encouraged these demonstrations and put sanctions on Tehran for “repression” in response.
In a related context, European Union Foreign Policy Commissioner Joseph Borrell, who is participating in the meetings of foreign ministers ministers in Musinter, said that the Group of Seven discusses today the continued support of demonstrators in Iran in the face of the repression they are exposed to.

Borrell called Iran to stop its support for Russia, noting that Ukraine provided the European Union and the Group of Seven with evidence confirming Iran’s supply of Russia with weapons used in the war against it.
Borrell stated that the Iran nuclear talks are now on hold.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian declared that an Iranian delegation will travel to Vienna to finish the research with the International Atomic Energy Agency on issues related to the Tehran nuclear file, in spite of recent assurances from the United States and Europe that the nuclear negotiations have come to a standstill because of Iran’s adamantness.

Amir Abdullahian confirmed during a press conference in Tehran, today, Wednesday, that he will soon discuss with his European counterpart, Josep Borrell, “the latest understandings” on negotiations, according to Agence France -Presse.
Despite certain contradicting statements made by some American authorities, he said, Tehran and Washington are still exchanging communications through the European mediator.

Ali Bagheri, the renowned Iranian negotiator in Vienna and his deputy, said that there had been a “new shift” in the nuclear talks.

Britain: Working with our allies, we’ll stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
