The addition of Clegg to the team for the next A-League season has the new women’s team coach giddy with joy.

These abilities were demonstrated at this year’s FIFA Under-17 and Under-20 World Cups.
Clegg started all three games despite being the youngest player on the Under-20 New Zealand team in Costa Rica, and he scored in a 2-2 tie with Colombia in August.
She then travelled to India for the Under-17 World Cup, where Clegg scored the sole goal for New Zealand in defeats to Germany and Chile.
Clegg’s finishing is a nice improvement for the Phoenix team, who had the second-lowest goal total in the league previous season with 13.
