The architecture house celebrates the first centenary to discover the cemetery of Tutankhamun

At six o’clock in the evening, Dr. Salwa Ahmed Kamel, professor of antiquities and ancient Egyptian religion at the Faculty of Antiquities, Cairo University, and manager of the Egyptian Architecture House in Darb al-Labana, which is associated with the Cultural Development Fund sector, will give a lecture titled “Tutankhamun: A new vision” as part of commemorating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

The lecture covers a number of topics, such as the uncertainty surrounding Tutankhamun’s brief life in ancient Egypt, medical intervention through the work of a survey and radiation for the mummy of the young king, revealing hidden aspects in the journey of discovering the young king’s cemetery, and highlighting a new exhibition at the University of Oxford in England, entitled: “Tutankhamun… excavation in the archive.
