Following the wounded of former prime minister Imran Khan, who was the target of an assassination attempt in the Punjab region’s Minister of Abad, Pakistani towns on Thursday saw protests.

According to Pakistani media, residents of the nation’s capital, Islamabad, and a number of other towns, including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Bashwar, took to the streets to demonstrate against the attack on “Insaf Movement” leader Khan.
Traffic in numerous places was halted as a result of the protesters’ burning of tyres and road closures.

The protesters screamed anti-government slogans and demanded that the criminals be apprehended and brought before the law. They also said that Imran Khan crosses a limit for them.

While participating in a march organised in the Minister of Abad in the Punjab region earlier today, where he was targeted for an assassination attempt, Khan managed to escape with only minor injuries. Meanwhile, 6 other people were killed, including Faisal Javed, a senator from the “Insaf Movement” party.
