The US Secretary of State condemns the shooting of Imran Khan, “There is no place for violence in politics in Pakistan”

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States strongly condemns the shooting of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and others in a political gathering.
We send our condolences to the relatives of the deceased and wish Amran Khan and all of the other injured a quick and complete recovery.

“We call on all sides to desist from violence, harassment, and intimidation. We reiterate that the United States is strongly committed to a democratic and peaceful Pakistan, and we stand by the Pakistani people,” the US Secretary of State said.

Imran Khan’s shooting is condemned by the US Secretary of State, who declares that “violence has no place in Pakistani politics.”
