Italian team Lazio said goodbye to the European League competition after falling to Dutch team Feyenoord, the competition’s host, 1-0 in their matchup on Thursday night at the “Feyenoord” stadium. This matchup took place in the sixth and final round of competitions in the sixth group, stage of the current season group 2022–2023.
In the 64th minute of the game, Feneord’s Santiago Jiminiz scored the game’s winning goal, while Luka Romero of Lazio was exposed to the sixth minute of time instead of losing the game after collecting the second yellow card.
The Danish MITINAD defeated the Austrian Grats in the same group with a clean double.
Feyenoord qualified for the round of 16 of the European League, after Group VI with 8 points, outperforming the goal difference from both the runner -up and Lazio III, after equaling 8 points.
While the squad from Malta will compete in the European League’s knockout round, the Italian team will play in the European Conference League championship.
After losing to Feyenoord of the Netherlands, Lazio said goodbye to the European League.
