On Thursday evening, the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a demonstration for Palestinians in the village of “Al -Tor”, east of occupied Jerusalem, to demand the recovery of the body of the martyr Muhammad Abu Jumaa, who has been detained since last September.
Despite no reports of injuries, Palestinian sources in Jerusalem said that the occupying soldiers had shot sound bombs at the protesters.
The protesters chanted slogans demanding the return of Abu Jumaa’s body, which the occupation authorities have been holding since his martyrdom on September 22 near the town of “Beit Sira,” west of Ramallah.
Israel is keeping the bodies of some martyrs in order to abuse them after their deaths, which is making their families’ grief worse.
Palestinians who have been asking for the retrieval of a martyr’s body who has been held captive since “September” have been silenced by the occupation.
