The Novi programme is a regional and global strategy that reflects the directions of the Egyptian state and the goals of the COP27 climate conference, to move from the pledge stage to the implementation stage. The results of ongoing discussions and partnerships with multi-party development partners will be presented at the COP27 Climate Conference on the Egyptian national platform.
The “Novi” programme was created within the framework of the National Strategy for Climate Change 2050 and the national specified contributions NDCS, which strengthens efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable growth and low carbon development, while also enhancing governance and managing work in the field of climate change, developing infrastructure for financing climate activities, and building flexibility and the capacity to adapt to the phenomenon of climate change.
