The Ministry of Communications discusses the “green digital transformation” within the activities of the climate conference

The International Communications Federation organises a “session on the standards of the International Communications Federation related to green digital transformation and the role of the information and communication technology sector in reducing global global warming gas emissions” as part of the activities of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Cop 27).

By promoting digital and green transformation, developing creative solutions to achieve a sustainable digital transformation globally, reducing emissions from sector operations, and assisting other sectors in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the information and communications technology sector plays a critical role in achieving climate goals, as will be highlighted in the session.

The International Communications Union’s requirements for the green digital transformation and the contribution of the information and communications technology industry to the global reduction of greenhouse gas emissions will be covered in this session.

The “green digital transformation” is a topic covered by the Ministry of Communications during the climate conference events.
