Gas futures contracts in Europe climbed on Thursday, by 9% and rose above the level of 1400 dollars per thousand cubic metres.
The Blue Fuel futures for December of next year jumped by 9.3% at 11:33 Moscow time to $145.3 per thousand cubic metres.
Winter is quickly approaching, and European markets are subject to volatility because of the breakdown of the “Northern Cell-1” owing to sabotage and the disturbance in the Russian gas supply caused by Western sanctions.
