Palmeras crowned the Brazilian league for the 11th time in its history

After defeating Fortalisa 4–0 in the match they played on Wednesday night (Thursday am GMT) in the league’s 35th round, the Palmeiras club won the Brazilian Football League championship for the 11th time in its existence.
This round also saw Bragantino’s victory over Avai 2/1, Santos over Atletico Joynince 3/2, Coritiba over Goventod 1 / zero, and Corinthians over Flamingo 2/1.

Ronelson Barbosa of Palmeiras scored twice in the 15th and 48th minutes, as well as once each in the 32nd and 64th minutes through Dodo and Andreik.
In first position, Palmeiras improved its score to 76 points, 12 points ahead of the next-closest foreign team, and Fortalisa’s total fell to 48 points in tenth place.
Palmeiras won his second championship in the previous five years before the competition’s last three rounds.
