The Egyptian tourist destination was on this list.
The Grand Egyptian Museum, whose opening is eagerly anticipated worldwide, and the Rabash Road in Luxor, which opened last year, were highlighted in the report, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, which noted that they were two significant factors in placing Egypt at the top of the list of tourist destinations that are renowned for cultural tourism and that must be visited in 2023.
According to the research, the list also highlights tourist locations where local efforts are being made to conserve the environment and cultural heritage as well as to promote environmental tourism and sustainability.
The top spot on National Geographic’s selection of the top 25 travel destinations for 2023 is Egypt.
