The terrorist youth group is accused of kidnapping 4 people in Kenya, including paramedics

Near the Kenya-Somalia border, two paramedics, a driver, and a patient were abducted by attackers Kenyan police believe to be from the Somali youth organisation affiliated with al-Qaeda.
In northeastern Kenya, as the patient was being transported to a hospital in the region, the gunmen ambushed an ambulance belonging to the Mandira County Government.

According to a report from the Mandira police station in Mandira, “The ambulance was carrying a patient on its way to Ilwak Medical and accompanied by a hospital worker.”
“The gunmen went towards Somalia and they are currently unable to contact them owing to network issues,” he continued. “They were assumed to be from the (youth) of the automobile.

The youth group in Kenya has slowed down the pace of its attacks in recent years, but as part of its campaign to pressure the East African nation to pull its troops out of Somalia, the group has already targeted security personnel, schools, vehicles, towns, and communications infrastructure in northern and eastern Kenya.

In front of the young group, Kenyan military are taking part in the peacekeeping operation sent by the African Union to support the Somali central authority.
The group has been battling for more than ten years to topple Somalia’s national government and install its own system of governance based on a strict application of Islamic law.

The organisation has been under attack in Somalia since President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud launched an offensive against it in August with the help of the American government and local militia allies in an effort to damage its funding network.

Four persons, including paramedics, are accused of being abducted in Kenya by the terrorist youth group.
