South Korea says that Pyongyang launched another ballistic missile

The Sea of Japan, commonly known as the Sea of the East, was the target of a ballistic missile fired from Pyongyang, according to the South Korean army on Thursday.
According to the South Korean army, which was quoted by Yonhap News Agency, Pyongyang launched more than ten missiles from its eastern and western coast before North Korea launched an unidentified ballistic missile.

On Wednesday, South Korean fighters launched three air-to-surface missiles in response to the Pyongyang missile launch wave, including a maritime-border missile with South Korea and fell at sea just 60 km from the coast.
According to a defence ministry spokesman, this is the first time a North Korean missile has come down close to South Korean territorial seas since the Korean War ended in 1953.

The most significant air manoeuvres undertaken by the South Korean and American forces some years ago are being retaliated against with fresh missile launches and artillery shells from North Korea, which began on Monday and will last through Friday.
North Korea declared that the two nations were engaging in “reckless” military provocation and promised to retaliate.

Pyongyang allegedly launched a new ballistic missile, according to South Korea.
