“Every sweet need” opens the Sharjah offers program .. I know details

The first activities of the “Sharjah shows” program organized by the Sharjah Arts Foundation will start on Friday, November 4, 2022, in the House of Ubaid Al Shamsi Heritage, with the theatrical show “Every Sweet Need” directed by Ahmed Al -Attar, and the performance of Nanda Mohamed.
“Every sweet need” is one of seventeen inflatable and modern creative performances that run from the beginning of November 2022 until the beginning of January 2023.

Denkan McMilalan, an English author, wrote this play in 2013, and it quickly rose to prominence as one of the most popular works of the previous ten years after being performed on stages all over the world. Ahmed Al-Attar both translated and directed the play into Arabic.

As this presentation depends on the performance abilities of one actress on the stage of an empty theatre with a few props and music, and the challenge that faces the actress in balancing the flow of the story’s events with the actress’s own emotions, the play centres on a mother who lives in a state of depression and a desire to commit suicide, which is reflected in her family, especially on her daughter, who plays the role of the Syrian actress Nanda Mohamed.

Despite the play’s complicated and emotional subject matter, the audience leaves feeling joyful, upbeat, and full of optimism.
Ahmed Al -Attar works as an independent director and playwright, and he is the founder and coach of the temple group for the independent theater and the East Film and theatrical Production Company, as he is the founder and general manager of the Imad Al -Din Studio Foundation, which provides performance showcases in Cairo spaces for rehearsals, technical residencies and training.

Al-Attar has a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from the American University in Cairo, a Master of Arts in arts and cultural administration from the University of Paris III – the new Sorbonne, and he was also awarded the Chiveng scholarship through the Chlor Pioneer Program in the UK.

Nanda Mohamed, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus’ acting programme, has collaborated with numerous theatre directors both inside and outside of Syria, including Tim Sable, Aryan Mnuchkin, and Baccal Rambert (UK).

Nanda performed numerous roles and displayed numerous pieces of art at a number of prestigious theatres and festivals around the world, including the Avenueon Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Fall Festival, Lift Festival, Lincoln Center, Shizuka International Theater Festival, Conston Art Festival, La Patty Festival, Arena del Sol, Teatro Festival Napoli, Ozassia Festival, Hong Kong Festival of Arts, Singapore International Arts Festival, and a number of others.

She most recently received the French Ministry of Culture’s Medal of “Arts and Literature Persia rank.”
She also took part in a number of Egyptian and Syrian dramas, the most recent of which was (Soul Soul) 2022.
