White House: We will impose heavy costs on Iran’s violence officials

The White House has reaffirmed that the US will keep holding those responsible for the violence in Iran to a high price.
The administration of President Joe Biden rejects any types of violence against Iranian demonstrators, according to the White House spokesperson Al-Hadath, who made the statement on Wednesday.
He further emphasised that the ongoing murder of Iranian demonstrators was abhorrent and that those responsible will be held accountable.

The Humao Rights Organization reported that in the past five days, 16 demonstrators were killed by security forces in the Kurdish cities in western and northwestern Iran. This comes as the death toll from Iran’s protests rose as demonstrations in the country continued for the second month in a row.
The Iranian News Agency for Human Rights (Harana) reported that the death toll has risen to 287 demonstrators, including at least 46 children.

According to “Hranna” data, 300 university students were among the 14,161 demonstrators that were detained.
It is significant that these protests started on September 16, the day Muhsa Amini, a young Kurdish woman of 22, died. This was three days after she was detained in Tehran by the so-called “Ethics Police” for “wearing unsuitable clothing” and going against the conservative woman’s dress code. Since the start of the 1980s, the nation has been enforced.

Her passing has stoked the nation’s fury over a number of issues, including the limitations placed on individual freedoms and the stringent regulations governing women’s attire, as well as the country’s ongoing living and economic crisis, not to mention the rigid regulations imposed by the regime and its political make-up in general.

White House: Iran’s violent officials will face severe penalties.
