An agreement on a “permanent pause of military actions” in Ethiopia has been achieved, an African Union official announced today, according to Reuters. The deal will be signed at a ceremony in Pretoria, South Africa.
The war erupted in November 2020, between the forces of the Tigray region on the one hand and the Ethiopian Federal Army forces and its allies, including forces from other regions and from Eritrea, on the other hand.
