Hossam Al -Badri, the coach of the Algerian ES Setif club, announced his departure from the team after the end of the next two rounds of the league competition, due to the financial crises that the club suffers from.
Al-Badri preferred to depart the ES Setif team after the conclusion of the following two league rounds so that the administration could hire a new technical staff during the World Cup’s international break.
“The club is suffering from a severe financial crisis, and the administration has failed to provide financial liquidity to spend the dues of players during the last period,” Al-Badri said in the press conference before his team’s game against Hilal Shalgoum. “As a result, they decided to refrain from attending the training,” he continued.
The ES Setif coach continued, “I overcame many challenges for the club’s supporters, and I worked incredibly hard to deal with the challenging situations here, but the current situation in the club makes it challenging to accomplish any constructive work in light of the state of financial instability.
“I appreciate the fans of the club for their love and support for me during the time when I assumed the technical leadership of ES Setif. It made me very pleased, and I wish the team success in the coming period,” Al-Badri said in his closing statement.
