Biden Deputy: We are preparing to expel Iran from the UN Commission for Women’s Affairs

Due to the denial of Iranian rights and the ruthless suppression of the protests, US President Kamala Harris declared today, Wednesday, that the US will attempt to have Iran removed from the United Nations Committee on the Status of Women from 45 countries.
Iran has just started a four -year organic period in the committee that meets annually in March to work to enhance gender equality and empower women.

Since the Kurdish girl was killed by the Ethics Police two months ago, there has been a continual rebellion in Iran. Despite this, the Tehran authorities have continued to repress women, even though many have died at the hands of the police.

In response to internet censorship, widespread arrests, and live gunfire attacks by the security forces, the protesters took to the streets to call for political freedom under the Kurdish rallying cry “Woman, Life, Freedom.”
The prominent involvement of women is directly related to the unprecedented extent of these protests.
Iran’s government has recently exerted greater control over women’s lives, particularly with relation to the veil rule.

It might be stated that the killing of Amini was the tipping point for the violent recordings that were extensively produced against the ethics police.
In addition to the attacks related to the veil, the government recently implemented a population of birth that imposes social control on women and families, and it is about to increase the marginalization of women from the public domain.

This policy, which the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations denounced, restricts family planning and reproductive health services, including foetal monitoring and getting contraception.

Biden’s deputy: Iran is about to be kicked out of the UN Commission on Women’s Affairs.
