Biden Deputy: We are preparing to expel Iran from the UN Commission for Women’s Affairs

US President Kamala Harris announced today, Wednesday, that the United States will try to expel Iran from the United Nations Committee on the status of women from 45 countries due to the deprivation of Iranian rights and the brutal repression of the protests.
The group that meets yearly in March to seek to improve gender equality and empower women has recently begun a four-year organic phase in Iran.

Since the Kurdish girl was killed by the Ethics Police two months ago, there has been a continual rebellion in Iran. Despite this, the Tehran authorities have continued to repress women, even though many have died at the hands of the police.

In response to internet censorship, widespread arrests, and live gunfire attacks by the security forces, the protesters took to the streets to call for political freedom under the Kurdish rallying cry “Woman, Life, Freedom.”
The prominent involvement of women is directly related to the unprecedented extent of these protests.
During the past year in Iran, the government’s control over the life of women, especially with regard to the law of the veil.

It might be stated that the killing of Amini was the tipping point for the violent recordings that were extensively produced against the ethics police.
In addition to the attacks related to the veil, the government recently implemented a population of birth that imposes social control on women and families, and it is about to increase the marginalization of women from the public domain.

This policy, which the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations denounced, restricts family planning and reproductive health services, including foetal monitoring and getting contraception.

Biden’s deputy: Iran is about to be kicked out of the UN Commission on Women’s Affairs.
