Mohamed Salah, a star player for Egypt, made a comment on Jurgen Klopp’s tactics used against Napoli on Tuesday in the last group stage matchup for the Champions League.
Al-Masry scored the opening goal for Liverpool in the 85th minute, following a follow-up to the goalie from Uruguayan attacker Darwin Nunez, who then added the second goal for his club in stoppage time. Salah then led Liverpool to victory against Napoli with two goals without a reaction.
After recently implementing the playing strategy with two strikers, Klopp went back to his go-to 4-3-3 formation against Napoli, and he was successful.
Salah claimed following the encounter against Napoli, in which he won the Best Player Award, that the coach’s decisions, not his own, would determine whether Liverpool’s playing style will change in future matches.
Salah, who played on the right flank, said in statements to “BT Sport” that he likes an assault line of three players.
“Any centre in which I feel comfortable, I will be satisfied with it,” he continued, “but having played in the right centre (attacker) (in a 4-3-3 plan) for five or six years, I have to say yes, this position is the best for me, but I am not the manager Technical.”
The coach is the one who decides the tactic, and you as a player must follow the leader.
