The club confirmed on Wednesday that Eduardo Kodit, the Argentine coach of 16th-placed Celta Vigo in the Spanish Football League, had been fired.
The team released a statement saying, “Kodit and his technical staff left Celta after a good era.”

The Argentine coach quits after two years, during which the team performed well, he continued.
Prior to the team finishing the season in eighth place with a fantastic Rimontada, the club was in the penultimate position (before he joined). Last season, the club placed eleventh.
The Kodit contract, which began in November 2020 and will last through 2024, was given the tasks to successor Oscar Garcia.
Celta Vigo has only three victories this season from 12 games, losing four of his last five league games and drawing the other.
According to local rumours, the club may choose to replace Codit with the Portuguese Carlos Carvalial, the unit’s most recent coach, on a two-year contract.
