Rishi Sonak announces his attendance at the climate summit in Egypt

British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak made the decision to travel to Egypt for the COP27 climate meeting, reversing the attitude of the previous British government.
The Sonak office claimed that it was too busy getting ready for the budget presentation on November 17 to make it to the conference, which gets underway on Sunday. However, opposition groups, environmentalists, and climate consultant Charma all strongly disapproved of his choice.

Sonak stated on Twitter that there won’t be long-term prosperity without addressing climate change or energy security without spending money on renewable energy sources.
In order to establish a secure and long-lasting future, he continued, “I will follow the heritage of Glasgow by attending the climate summit next week.
Boris Johnson, a former British prime minister, announced on Tuesday that he would attend the meeting in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

The most recent Glasgow climate summit was held in Britain last year.
Following “an embarrassing incorrect step on the global stage,” Green Party representative Caroline Lucas praised what she called a “wonderful retreat.”
“Let this be a lesson for him, as the leadership on the climate is crucial,” she continued.
The Climate Summit “COP 27” is held in Sharm El -Sheikh, Egypt, starting from November 6.

The yearly climate summits hosted by the UN are intended to assist nations in reaching global agreement on measures to lower high temperatures.
The US President Joe Biden will attend the Climate Summit 27 Cup in Egypt next month, according to a White House announcement.
He stated that Biden would participate in the summit on November 11 before travelling to Cambodia for the annual meeting of the ASEAN Group and then to Indonesia for the G20 conference.

White House spokeswoman Karen Jean -Pierre said in a statement that Biden will be based during his participation in the 27 Cup “on the great work that the United States has done to move forward in combating climate change globally. ”
Biden would also reaffirm that “the globe must advance throughout this important decade,” she continued.
