The Israeli occupation destroys 5 homes in the north and south of the West Bank

Five homes were destroyed by Israeli occupation troops today, on Wednesday, in the northern and southern West Bank provinces of Jenin and Bethlehem.

According to the head of the village council (Julboun), in the northeastern province of Jenin Abu Al-Rab, “the occupation forces stormed the village with two military bulldozers and demolished two houses on the pretext of not licencing,” explaining that the first house is under construction, has two floors, and is about 200 square metres in size, while the second house is 140 square metres in size and is home to five people. The two houses were also under construction.

After the demolition process, there were clashes between the young men and the occupying troops, who fired sound and tear gas bombs in their direction. As a result, the Speaker of the Council was injured, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment after receiving a gas bomb in his ear.
The Israeli occupation soldiers in Bethlehem destroyed three homes in the town of “Al-Walajah.”

Khadr Al-Araj, the leader of the village council, stated that the occupying troops invaded the neighbourhood and destroyed the three homes as part of a settlement attack intended to destroy dozens of homes and agricultural buildings in order to encircle the locals and force them to flee.
