After written guarantees .. Russia resumes participation with the grain agreement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared today, Wednesday, that Russia will continue to handle the export of grain across the Black Sea after obtaining formal commitments from Kiev not to militarily use the grain corridors. the official Anatolia Agency claims.
“I made a phone call yesterday with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin and I will make a similar contact with (Ukrainian President Voludmirir) Zellinski today on the grain corridor,” Erdogan said.

He added to the parliament that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigo contacted his Turkish counterpart, Khulusi Akar, to inform him that “the shipments of grain will resume according to the plan as of this afternoon (Wednesday).
According to the Russian “Interfax” news agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that it was “possible to acquire formal pledges from Kyiv not to utilise the grain corridor to carry out military operations against Russia.”

After accusing Kiev of using marches to assault its fleet stationed in the Crimea, Russia withdrew from the pact.
On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed Russia’s readiness to provide African countries with grains and fertilizers for free, according to what the Kremlin announced.

The Russian president wanted guarantees that Kyiv’s grain corridors wouldn’t be used for military reasons, the Kremlin underlined in a statement following a meeting between Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He also called for a detailed investigation into the Kyiv attack on the ships in Sevastopol, accusing Ukraine, accusing the use of grain corridor, with Western support, to attack Sevastopol and ships guarding the corridor.

It is noteworthy that the agreement concluded between Ukraine and Russia in July under the auspices of Turkey and the United Nations and ends on November 19 to alleviate the global food crisis caused by the conflict, especially in Africa.
Since the beginning of the war in late February, the deal has so far permitted the export of more than 9. 5 million tonnes of Ukrainian grains that have been trapped in the ports.

Following formal assurances, Russia restarts its involvement in the grain arrangement.
