Al-Madinah News: In Shabwa Governorate, Yemeni authorities declared the arrest of a terrorist cell associated with the Houthi militia. The group had planned to attack political, military, and security figures as well as other members of the Saudi-led legitimate support coalition.
According to a security source cited by the Yemeni News Agency “Saba,” “the security services in Shabwa Governorate seized a terrorist terrorist cell that was preparing to carry out criminal operations targeting a number of leaders of the province, including the governor Awad Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki and a number of Arab coalition leaders, Shabwa defence forces and brigades Giants, military and security leaders.
She said, “The Houthi cell planted two explosive devices last October, the first of which was directed at a mechanism for the Giants Brigade forces in the city of Ata 3, resulting in three injuries and material damage to stores and homes.
According to the report, “a number of explosive devices were found and dismantled by the security services.”
