We are getting closer to a magnificent victory, the former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared today, Wednesday, to his supporters.
Tuesday, Sky News Arabia reported that voting had begun for the Israeli Knesset elections.
According to Sky News Arabia, the Israeli Knesset earlier passed a resolution to dissolve itself as a first step toward holding early elections.
It is reported that the Knesset is a national legislative council in one room for Israel.
As the Israeli government’s legislative body, the Knesset appoints the president and prime minister, approves the selection of the cabinet, and oversees the administration of all legislation. Additionally, the state observer is chosen by the Knesset.
Speaking to his supporters, Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We are getting closer to a magnificent victory.”
