Saudi Arabia hosts the Arab Federation of Libraries and Information Conference the next session

The Arab Federation of Libraries and Information “Alam” hosted its 33rd General Conference in Abu Dhabi yesterday, and during that event the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia declared that it would host the 34th session in November 2023.

According to the Saudi media, this hosting aims to forge local, regional, and international partnerships with the participation of a number of interested and specialists in the library sector. It will also review a number of studies and scientific research to explore the depths of the library sector.

The Saudi Library Authority wants to improve the leadership of the Saudi library sector, increase the authority’s visibility in the Arab and global library sectors, discuss opportunities for collaboration with the Arab Library and Information Federation “I know,” and give experts and those with an interest in the Kingdom the chance to attend and participate in these global conferences during the conference’s next session.

The conference also aims to increase leadership in the Saudi library sector, make Saudi libraries more visible on the map of the Arab and international library sectors, discuss opportunities for cooperation with the Arab Federation of Libraries and Information, and review various studies and scientific research to explore the depths of the library sector.
