Bolsonaro announces his “commitment to the constitution” in the wake of his defeat in the elections

After losing the presidential election, Jayyar Bolsonaro, the former president of Brazil, made the indirect admission that he would “abide by the constitution.”
It is “a great pleasure for me to be a leader of millions of Brazilians who are protecting religious and economic freedom,” Bolsonaro said, adding that he will “adhere to all the standards of the constitution.”

“Our strong representation in Congress supports our values—the Lord, the nation, and the family,” he continued.
Bolsonaro avoided talking about his election loss or his narrow victory over left-wing competitor Luis Inacio Lula da Silva in the second round of voting, where he received around 51% of the vote to Bolsonaro’s 49%.

Following his election setback, Bolsonaro declares his “fidelity to the constitution.”
