Edward Said, a Palestinian -American researcher and thinker, was born on this day, the first of November 1935, known for his numerous literature in literary and musical criticism and post -colonial issues.

The book has been translated into several languages, and you can find it being studied in many political science classes.

In addition, Edward Said wrote a thousand books and put theories in music. He participated in the Palestinian National Council as an independent member and demonstrated a strong interest in politics.
He married Marie Janus in 1962, they divorced in 1967, and then he married Mary Kortas and Rizk in 1970. They had two children together. Najla, his daughter, is a theatrical writer and performer.
Edward Said passed away on September 23, 2003, following a protracted battle with leukaemia that lasted 12 years.
