The start of the activities of the First International Forum for Applied Technology and the inauguration of the “Valley of Technology” initiative

The activities of the first international forum for applied technology, “Kimtech Valley Fourm,” were held under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and were presided over by Professor Dr. Hisham El-Deeb, President of New Cairo Technological University, in the presence of numerous pertinent ministries, international organisations, and business investment firms. The “Egyptian Applied Valley Valley Valle” was also launched.

The initiative comes in the context of the establishment of close cooperation and solidarity between the scientific research sector and the private sector, and within the framework of the state’s interest in basic sciences and building a strong scientific base, as well as the implementation of Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030, whose goals include creating an environment that is supportive of science, technology, and innovation and bridging the gap between the public and private sectors, as well as to prepare Distinguishing Disciplines for the Future.

The initiative also seeks to develop technological education institutions and programs in proportion to the skills and functions of the future and the need for the technological skills and labor markets that serve the industrial sector and all economic sectors in cooperation between technological universities, companies and institutions with experience.
