Less than three weeks before the start of the 2022 World Cup competitions, the Argentine national team received more bad news regarding one of its players: Giovanni Le Silsu, a midfielder for the Spanish club Villarreal.
Le Celsu suffered an injury during the match between Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal on Saturday at the “Saint Mames” stadium. The Argentine was unable to finish the game and exited the stadium in the 25th minute of the Spanish League contests for the 2022–23 season.
The Argentine newspaper “Tyc SPORTS” confirmed that Le Silsu was subjected to first -class muscle tear, making his appearance in the match with “Albiliste” in the 2022 World Cup against Saudi Arabia on November 22nd of great doubt.
If Silsu is one of the team’s most important players and suffers a first-class rupture, he will need three weeks to recuperate, which raises the likelihood that he won’t play against Saudi Arabia.
Le Silsu’s inclusion in the list of the Argentine national team is nearly probable in any event, but it must first be assessed to determine when it will be in the best form for participation.
