UAE and the United States expect a partnership to produce 100 GB of clean energy by 2035

According to Sky News Arabia, the UAE and the US signed a deal today (Tuesday) to invest $100 billion in order to produce 100 GB of sustainable energy by 2035.

The President of the State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was present when the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America was signed. By 2035, this partnership will invest $100 billion in the implementation of clean energy projects with a 100 GB production capacity in the UAE, the US, and other parts of the world. to promote the use of clean technology, strengthen efforts to combat climate change, and improve energy security.

The Special Envoy for Climate Change of the UAE and Hopxstin Ammstein, the American Presidential Presidential Coordinator, signed a document on energy security and ensuring a sufficient and sustainable supply at reasonable prices. This document was signed by Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.

Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, also attended the signing. The country’s ambassador to the United States of America, His Excellency Youssef Manea Al-Otaiba, and the Executive Affairs Agency, a member of the Executive Council

According to the agency, this relationship symbolises the UAE’s and the US’s shared commitment to accelerate climate work efforts and raise the bar for ambition in this area through coordinated efforts, in keeping with their objectives to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

By 2035, the UAE and the US plan their alliance to produce 100 GB of sustainable energy.
