Moscow calls on the Dutch ambassador in protest against attempts to recruit Russian diplomats

The Dutch ambassador to Russia was summoned, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, in order to “seriously denounce” attempts by Western intelligence agencies to “recruit” Russian diplomats in the Netherlands.
The Dutch Ambassador to Moscow, Bashur Belkh’s generation, “was called on October 31 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the ministry said in a statement.

“Moscow protested barely to try to recruit the military attache of the Russian embassy in The Hague on October 20 by a representative of the British intelligence services,” she continued.
Such inflammatory activities are undesirable and obstruct the legitimate operations of Russian entities overseas, the statement emphasised.
