More support.. Germany showers Kyiv with weapons

The Pentagon revealed last Friday the 19th package of additional military aid granted to Ukraine, costing $775 million, with the goal of assisting it in changing the course of hostilities and restoring territory held by Russian forces.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany announced today, Tuesday, that his country wants to provide further weaponry to Ukraine costing more than 500 million euros (498. 55 million dollars).

According to a participant at a Ukraine online conference in Toronto, Germany intends to deliver three more Iris-T air defence systems, 12 armoured vehicles, 20 rocket launchers, precision-guided ammunition, and anti-aircraft systems.

The source stated that the weapons will be supplied in 2023, with some perhaps sent sooner, stressing that the German parliament’s budget committee must still accept these shipments, which Schulz hailed as a contribution to the upgrading of the Ukrainian armed forces.

These changes occurred at a time when fresh US assistance included precise missiles, anti-armor weaponry, reconnaissance drones, artillery, and demining equipment that may improve Ukrainian strikes, as well as huge demining equipment aimed against offloading Russian soldiers.
This latest US aid package includes 15 Sky Eagle spy drones, 1,000 Javelin anti-armor missiles, 1,500 TOW missiles, Hymars and Howitzers, and new artillery ammo.
