Russia gives Lebanon 10 thousand tons of fuel for electricity and 25 thousand tons of wheat

Ali Hamiya, the Lebanese Business Government’s Minister of Transport and Public Works, declared that Russia would provide his country with 10,000 tonnes of petroleum and 25,000 tonnes of wheat, subject to the announcement of the specifics of the exchange taking place within two days.
“To help with the electricity aspect, Russia will donate 10,000 tonnes of fuel to Lebanon.

He said, “Russia will give Lebanon 25,000 tonnes of wheat, and we’ll reveal the specifics of the two Russian helicopters in two days. ”
The Russian initiative comes at a time when Lebanon is going through a severe economic crisis, which the Lebanese Foreign Ministry declared months ago is “unprecedented.”

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry urged the European Union to work together and engage in conversation to create a plan that would eventually allow the refugees from Syria to return to their homes in safety and dignity.
Recent setbacks for the Lebanese lira coincided with a serious banking crisis, which some banks chose to close, and demonstrations by depositors and the banking industry in a number of Lebanese districts.

Russia provides 25 thousand tonnes of wheat and 10,000 tonnes of power fuel to Lebanon.
