The Russian Minister of Defense discusses a phone with its Turkish counterpart, Moscow, the implementation of the pills transfer agreement from Ukraine

Sergei Shoigo, the Russian defence minister, spoke by phone with Khulusi Akar, his Turkish colleague, today, Monday, to discuss Russia’s decision to halt the implementation of the grain transfer agreement from Ukraine.
In a statement released Wednesday, the Russian defence claimed that the two ministers had discussed the Russian side’s concerns with the Black Sea Pills Initiative’s agreements to export agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.

The Russian defence made no mention of any specifics from this phone call in their statement, particularly in regards to the areas of agreement and disagreement between the parties on this subject.

The Ukrainian attack on Black Sea Fleet ships in the port of Sevastopol using drones prompted the Russian Ministry of Defense to suspend Russia’s participation in the “Food Agreement,” noting that the attack was planned and the Ukrainian Special Center for Marine operations was prepared under the supervision of British experts.

The fulfilment of the Ukrainian pill transfer deal is discussed over the phone by the Russian defence minister with his Turkish counterpart in Moscow.
