A 14-year-old child was killed in a Prince Edward County accident involving an SUV and a dirt bike.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, there was a collision on Danforth Road.
According to the police, their investigation indicates that the dirt bike and the eastbound SUV collided at the Millenium Trail crossing.
The youngster was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police report that the driver was unharmed, and no charges have been filed.
The road was closed until 2:30 a. m.
Police finished their investigation on Sunday.
