Al-Madinah News: Nasser Bouraita, Morocco’s minister of foreign affairs, stated on Sunday that King Mohammed VI of Morocco is unable to attend the Arab summit that Algeria supports due to regional considerations. He added that while the summit is a significant event, it does not lessen coordinated Arab action.

Despite his absence, the Moroccan monarch provided instructions to the mission to engage on productive tasks, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs said in Arabic, noting that the Arab League is the only channel of contact with Algeria.
