After making a threat to commit suicide today if his request to withdraw money from a bank branch in the Al-Hamra district of the capital, Beirut, was denied, the Lebanese army reported the arrest of a Palestinian citizen.
The army stated that the suspect had been referred for the inquiry under the supervision of the appropriate judiciary and that he had fired shots when the bank branch was being taken over without causing any injuries.
