Kingston police charge man in $448,000 drug bust, seek two others

Three flats on College Street were the scene of a sizable drug seizure last week by Kingston police.
On College Street in Kingston, on October 28 the narcotics enforcement unit carried out search warrants at two separate apartments.
The case, according to the police, was the result of a two-month investigation into the trafficking of methamphetamines. In a bust in 2021, two of the three accused had already faced charges.

Police said that during the raid, one man was charged inside the house, while the other two leaped out the window of the third flat to escape the officers.
More illegal substances were allegedly discovered after police secured a second search warrant.
According to authorities, the following things were taken from the three apartments inside the College Street apartment complex:
The street value of these drugs was estimated at $448,000.

For the offences mentioned above, warrants have been obtained for Matthew Wildsmith and Matthew Campbell.
Officers say both parties are actively evading the Kingston Police and are believed to still be in the Kingston area..
