The incident, which was the deadliest in Iran since 2019, was carried out, and Iranian officials, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Ibrahim Raisi, promised to “punish” those guilty.
At the burial services for the deceased performed on Saturday, Iranian protesters carried signs denouncing recent “riots” in their nation.
