According to the specialised “Marine Travik” website, the cargo ships, loaded with grain from Ukrainian ports, departed on Monday for Turkey along the humanitarian corridor despite Russia’s termination of the deal.

Following an attack on its fleet in the Crimea by illuminations, Russia has ceased its participation in the international convention on the transfer of grains from Ukraine that was agreed this summer. On Sunday, it announced its withdrawal from ship inspections “until another notice.”

According to the Joint Coordination Committee, ten teams from the inspector are expected to investigate 40 ships sailing toward Ukraine on Monday after the delegations of Turkey and the UN decided to contribute more resources.
