Cross receives the first red card in his career after 634 games

Tony Kroos had a successful football career, but on Sunday night he earned something less precious than his priceless medals: the first red card.
Kroos received a red card for the first time in his 634th official appearance for a first-class team, a 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

In stoppage time of the game, the German international player received a yellow card before being forced to block Alex Garcia during a rapid counterattack by Girona.
Due of this, referee Mario Miliro Lopez asked 32-year-old Cross to leave the game.
Cross began his career playing with Bayer Leverkusen for 18 months and went on to play at the top levels in Germany with Bayern Munich.

Cross joined the Bundesliga for the first time in 2007 and steadily rose to prominence with the Bayern Munich squad before moving to Real Madrid in 2014, just days after helping the German team win the World Cup.
Cross won five Champions League championships, three Bundesliga championships, three Spanish League championships, and five Club World Cup championships.
In his time with clubs, Cross made 130 goals and scored 59 goals.

Cross participated in 634 games in all competitions, including 132 games in the Champions League and 253 games in the Bundesliga and Spanish League.

After 634 games, Cross is given his first career red card.
