An intelligence report that instructed law enforcement personnel to evaluate the dangers of physical attacks on politicians was made public by the American magazine “Politico.”
The memorandum was planned, according to the magazine, by assessing the likelihood of threats to physical attacks on elected leaders or election officials in the days leading up to the midterm elections for the American Congress next month.
Local authorities and other people with knowledge of the situation were cited by “Politico” as saying that fear heightened after Nancy Pelosi’s husband got aggressive at his San Francisco home.
